BEOWULF LESSON PLANS ARE COMING!

High School lesson plans are being developed for English classes studying Beowulf as part of their curriculum. The lessons are being prepared by Professor R. SCOTT NOKES of Troy University, and will meet all National Council of Teachers of English guidelines. The plan will include readings, discussion topics, quizzes, Web Quest, video mini-lectures from Beowulf scholars as well as actors from the film "Beowulf: Prince of the Geats." JAYSHAN JACKSON (Beowulf) is enjoying family life in the Virgin Islands with S.O. Brandi Mays and their new son Seven. Jay was recently spotted in Cincinnati for a wedding, but left before the autograph hunters could find him.
